About Me: Over 15 years of Public, Leisure and Corporate events experience. I basically love the word ‘Event’. In my spare time I coach a girl’s football youth team and am working towards my Level 2 coaching badge. I also play mens football for Taverners FC where I had been manager but now want to concentrate on playing again whilst I am still in my 30’s! I love to travel and you can view some of my micro blogs on Instagram @eventstraveller.
Fun Fact: I raised £5k for The Alzheimer’s Society and Parkinson’s UK by running the Paris and Brighton marathons!
Favourite Venue: Wow, tricky question! There are so many amazing venues I’ve had the privilege to work in both in the UK and Internationally. If I had to choose one though it will be the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland on the shores of Lake Geneva – incredible, breath-taking!…just google it.
Favourite Destination: Incredibly hard to choose but I think it will have to be between the UK, Croatia and Portugal although Antigua comes very close too! I’m going with Croatia (just!) and this is because it offers pretty much everything and to such a high standard. I call it the Caribbean of Europe with its stunning islands that run along the mainland. Recommend places to visit are Dubrovnik, Split and Hvar. Such a beautiful destination with fantastic gastronomy and service!
Favourite Parallel Blue Moment: These questions don’t get easier! A plethora of ‘moments’ and I can’t pick one although chatting to Sir Geoff Hurst for half an hour about his footballing stories was right up there! I’m going with 13th March 2012 when I started at Parallel Blue – never looked back!
